Members agree to allocate a portion of revenue from new Consumers Energy contract as a charitable contribution to Life Remodeled

The Coalition is comprised of more than 30 local and national technology companies who have over 100 years of combined experience. Between them, they have a vast array of expertise and take a consultative non-biased approach to help customers in network design, engineering, voice, data, IP applications, mobility and much more. Coalition Members are currently provide services to Fortune 500 companies as well as medium and small business. Coming together to give back to the community is the only thing new to these companies.

“This is a prime example of how Michigan can give back to Michigan,” says Kathy Mazur, the executive director of MTC. “The mission of our organization is simply, MTC partners donate a percentage of every customers telecom revenue to MTC every month and in-turn we donate 100% to various Michigan charities.”

A Charter member of MTC is showing their commitment to the Coalition’s approach of charitable giving by agreeing to allocate a portion of revenue from a new, multi-year telecom network and services contract with Consumers Energy to MTC, which will in turn direct the contribution to Michigan-based non-profit, Life Remodeled. Life Remodeled, a non-profit organization that exists to remodel neighborhoods in Detroit. The organization remodeled Cody High School, and the surrounding area, last year and is dedicated to providing the same academic and athletic improvements to Osborn High School this summer. MTC’s commitment to Life Remodeled and Detroit is just one example of the kind of impact the organization can have on charities and communities across the state of Michigan. They believe a stronger Detroit means a stronger Michigan.

“MTC would like to work in conjunction with all Michigan companies IT departments to help enhance their networks while generating money for various causes,” Mazur says. “The point for Michigan business to remember is that every network has some room for optimization, and a second pair of eyes, at no cost, is great.” For more information about MTC, including how your company can participate, contact them at info@Michtc.com
